Egyptian President responds to attacks in Sinai which left over 30 soldiers dead

According to reports Egypt has announced three days of mourning for the more than 30 soldiers who died in a suicide bomb attack and in fights with militants in Sinai 24 October as well as declaring a State of Emergency in parts of Sinai which includes a curfew effective 0300 Saturday morning, the closing of the Rafah border crossing and cutting communication in northern Sinai following an emergency meeting of the National Defence Council.
