Expanding Universe
This image provided by NASA shows a barred spiral galaxy 130 million light-years away and is one of the measurements that astronomers used to come up with a faster rate of expansion of the universe. And if that new rate is correct, then scientists have to refigure some basic assumptions about the cosmos. (NASA via AP)
