Republican U.S. Sen. Dan Coats spoke to the state Senate on Monday and said he’s proud to brag on Indiana government where public officials work together. «The Hoosier model is where the federal government needs to go,» Coats told lawmakers. He said he’s the «envy of a lot of my colleagues» because Indiana is well positioned to benefit from an economic upturn.
